Do you like driving people crazy? If you do, you should read about the mischievous little Matilda. I read it and I liked Matilda a lot. There are some crazy parts about Lavender (Matilda's friend) and the Trunchbull. I would recommend the book to anybody!
In one part Matilda puts superglue in her dad's hat that he always wears to work. There is another part that Matilda put hair dye in her dad's hair gel. Matilda's friend, Lavender, played a trick on the Trunchbull by putting a newt in her drinking water. There were a lot of tricks being played on a lot of different people, but that was only a few.
A lot of the characters are different and have different personalities. Matilda is a nice young and little girl, but she is a sneaky person too. Mr.Wormwood owns a car dealer ship and cheats his customers. he also is Matilda's dad, but he hates her. The Trunchbull is a very mean person and hurts kids at the school that Matilda goes to. The Trunchbull is the headmistress of the school. Ms. Honey is a very poor and a teacher at the school.
Matilda with her powers that she got, helped Ms. Honey get her money and house back from the Trunchbull. Matilda did that by using a chalk board and acting like it was Ms. Honey's dad's ghost writing things like "give my Jenny her house and money." So, The Trunchbull fainted and later that day when she woke up packed her things and ran away. I would recommend for anyone to read the amazing Matilda! I would recommend Matilda because it is a fun book to read. When you put the book down, it will leave you at the edge of your seat!
